Flashback Poetic Education for the World: Radio Program in Spanish

The years 2018 and 2019 caused changes that influence the 2021 season of Flashback (radio program in Spanish) in light of the impact on multiple educational establishments in the Biobío Region, of the Poetic Education for Chile program. A phenomenon that we made known through various conversations with its protagonists: poet educators, teachers and students; the latter happy to have discovered poetry through their life experiences.

Today, the model implemented in the classrooms in the Biobío Region provokes admiration beyond the borders of Chile. This has meant understanding that Poetic Education is a concept worthy of being globalized and therefore we hope that the world will welcome it and implement it in their respective countries. This is how an international group of poets and teachers have understood it, who, gathered in Poetic Education for the World, will ensure that this is possible by making known the enormous potential that Poetic Education has for our society. In this context, Flashback 2023 will continue with the purpose of carrying out the mission of disseminating this initiative.

Los años 2018 y 2019 provocaron cambios que influyen en la temporada 2021 de Flashback (programa radiofónico en español) a la luz del impacto en múltiples establecimientos educacionales de la Región del Biobío, del programa Educación Poética para Chile. Un fenómeno que dimos a conocer por medio de diversas conversaciones con sus protagonistas: poetas educadores, profesores y alumnos; estos últimos felices de haber descubierto la poesía a través de sus experiencias de vida.

Hoy, el modelo implementado en las aulas en la Región del Biobío, provoca admiración más allá de las fronteras de Chile. Esto ha significado comprender que la Educación Poética, es un concepto digno de ser globalizado y por lo tanto esperamos que el mundo lo acoja y lo implemente en sus respectivos países. Así lo han entendido un grupo internacional de poetas y profesores, que reunidos en Poetic Education for the World, velarán por que esto sea posible dando a conocer el enorme potencial que la Educación Poética tiene para nuestra sociedad. En este contexto Flashback 2023, continuara con el propósito de llevar adelante la misión de difundir esta iniciativa.
